Mt. St Helen’s will always remind me that ultimately the power and strength comes from us.
When I see this photo, my body is immediately transported back to this moment because this hike killed me. I had a million reasons why we should just turn around but we didn’t.
And this reminded me, there will always be a million reasons why it can’t work but you only need one why it can.
I had a deep desire to do this hike, the same way I had a deep desire to help women in a greater capacity then bedside nursing would allow.
It was at this same time where I had left nursing for the first time to go all in on my business. It didn’t work on paper or at least I didn’t think. But it was happening for me. It was in this “failure” that I realized that I was just going through the motions, I had jumped from one hamster wheel to a new shiny one. All mirroring back to me the same old stories.
The vision felt outside of me.
The money, the wealth, the success, most importantly the impact wasn’t there because the deep rooted belief that I wasn’t worthy of it was.
The shift happened when I turned inward.
When I decided to go deeper, actually feel the fear, actually created the safety to explore my own desires, my own stories, and experience this present moment instead of living in the past or only dreaming about the future. When I connected deeper to my soul.
And when I did this, mountains moved, I found my strength.
Embodied Reiki was born as an extension of this work.
I am here to remind you that you have a choice, always, to lean into the excuses or lean into the vision.
Even when you’re not ready, even when the vision seems as far away as the summit, if the safety and trust is there, you can do it.
You have to create the internal environment to hold your external desires.
Embodied Reiki is way more than a level 1 reiki training.
Its a tool to tap back in.
It is a reminder that the power comes within.
It’s a coming home to your purpose party.
